Incol Credit Union Privacy Act The Privacy Act goes to into effect on July 1, 2001. We have sent out our privacy notices to all members of Incol Credit Union. Copies of our privacy policy are at both offices and can be reviewed during business hours. Also available is a list of companies we furnish information to during our normal course of business. In order to insure that your accounts with us are maintained with the utmost privacy, we are implementing new safeguards for your protection. We appreciate your cooperation as we begin our new procedures. Phone requests: Transfers, Account Information, etc… You will be asked for your social security number and your mother’s maiden name or husbands full name that you gave us when you opened your account. If you would like to give us a new password, we will gladly change it on your screen. Deposits made by someone other than the member: Unless you send a written request with the person making the deposit, we will complete the transaction and put your receipt in a sealed envelope. If you want the receipt mailed to you, you must include a self-stamped addressed envelope with your transaction. Check Cashing: We will gladly cash your check and give you up to $500.00 in cash (per day). If money back or a withdrawal exceeds that amount, we recommend opening a share draft account. We can also give you a cashier’s check to cash at PNC or Mellon Bank. Liability: While it is your choice to give your endorsed check to someone else to cash for you, the Credit Union is in no way insured or liable for any problems or loss which may occur. The member assumes full responsibility. Again, receipts will be placed in a sealed envelope unless otherwise requested. We have no control if the envelope is opened or tampered with. June 30, 2008
